Seriously Folks, Compare and Contrast Casualties: The War on Christmas and The War in Iraq

War on Christmas - 0
War in Iraq - over 2100 Americans, up to 1000,000 Iraqis
War in Afghanistan - over 250 Americans and an unknown number of Afghanis

The War on Christmas, now in its second year, has claimed the lives of zero Americans! No church-goers have been shot as they ran in a zig zag patterns between their cars and mega-churces on Sunday mornings! No Santa Clauses have been killed or maimed because of the lack of armor on their sleighs or the lack of flak vests! On the other hand, the war in Iraq has claimed the lives of up to 100,000 Iraqis (at least half of whom are women and children) and over 2100 American soldiers. These totals do not include the journalists, contractors and aid workers nor do they included the tens of thousands of wounded and maimed Iraqis and Americans. The real war in Afghanistan (remember, the one which was supposed to root out Osama Bin Laden?) has claimed the lives of over 250 American soldiers and God knows how many Afghanis).

Happy Holidays, everyone!
